MEET GERALD CHARI
Gerald Chari is an accomplished International professional IPSC shooter, who represented Zimbabwe at the 2025 WORLD SHOOT COMPETITION, and firearms instructor with a strong competitive background. His expertise spans multiple shooting disciplines, and his achievements highlight his exceptional skill and leadership in the field.
FOUNDER & CEO AT DEFCON ONE
Represented Zimbabwe at the World Shoot 2025 and achieved his National colours.
Bronze Medal at the 2025 Zim Open B Category, competing against shooters from other African countries.
Gold Medal in the 2025 Zim National B Category.
Bronze Medal at the 2024 Zim Open B Category, competing against shooters from six countries.
Silver Medal in the 2024 Zim National B Category.
98% Score in a defensive competition, demonstrating proficiency with .308, 9mm and .22 firearms.
3rd Place in the 2024 IPSC Competition League (B Grade).
Selected as a National Range Instructor by Cleveland Pistol Club for his leadership in firearms coaching.
2nd Place in the Zimbabwe National Army AK47 100m-200m competition (2023).
Outstanding Performance at the 2023 and 2025 Director General’s Shooting Competition, dropping five plates at 15m in under seven seconds in the 2023 competition.
